She moved to Lebanon to work and further the field of mental health in the Middle East, and what better way than to educate people about mental health and break taboos whether in a clinical setting, in a classroom or on stage as you can see in her speech at TEDxLAU 2016.
She has an extensive experience as a counselor working with young adults with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry.
Dr. Norma looks to promote wellness and mental health by focusing on the strengths of individuals rather than their diagnosis.
She follows a holistic philosophy; a cognitive behavioral approach that benefits growth and actualization combined.
She works with adolescents, young and mature adults and her main areas of focus are depression, anxiety, relationships, and family therapy.
