Loving Yourself

When you love yourself first, everything else in your life falls into place. There are huge benefits to loving yourself but how many of you really do? Whilst you may think you love yourself your subconscious beliefs reflect a completely different reality.

For example, putting other people’s needs before your own or making others happy at the detriment of your own happiness is all too common. You would much prefer to disappoint yourself than to deal with the negative reactions or the disappointment of your loved ones, employer or friends.

You find it difficult to say “No”. You often think it is much easier to say “yes” to the request of others. Unfortunately, this kind of behavior can hold you back in so many ways. In fact, so many people behave this way and don’t even realize it due to subconscious programming that they are not aware of.

Meeting your own needs first is not a selfish act if it is not acting out of integrity or is inhumane. If people react in a negative way, then it is their stuff and it is not you.

When you love yourself meeting your own needs and keeping yourself happy is an act of self-love for yourself. It will release any kind of suppression, improve your health dramatically and you will feel an incredible sense of freedom. As a result, you will be able to better serve those around you.
